My Pervi Family Review

As I've grown older, I've come to realize that my family's...let's call them "eccentricities" are actually a strength. They make us who we are, and I wouldn't trade them for the world.

Growing up, I thought my family was like any other. We had our quirks, our traditions, and our inside jokes. But as I got older, I began to realize that my family was...different. Not in a bad way, but in a way that was uniquely, bewilderingly us. my pervi family

My parents, for instance, have an obsession with antique door knobs. They collect them, display them proudly in our home, and even have a secret handshake involving a particularly ornate fixture from the 1920s. My siblings and I used to roll our eyes, but now we just smile and play along. As I've grown older, I've come to realize that my family's

In fact, I've started to appreciate the little things about my family that make us weird. Like how my dad insists on making his famous (and infamous) seven-layer Jell-O salad for every holiday. Or how my mom still uses her extensive collection of VHS tapes to create impromptu movie nights. We had our quirks, our traditions, and our inside jokes

And then there's my grandma, who's convinced she's a reincarnated Egyptian pharaoh. She'll regale us with tales of her past life, complete with detailed descriptions of pyramid-building and mummification. It's a bit out there, but hey, at least she's enthusiastic.

So, to all the weird and wonderful families out there, I salute you. May your door knob collections be vast, your historical reenactments be spirited, and your Egyptian pharaoh impersonations be fierce.

My family may not be "normal" in the classical sense, but we're ours. And in a world where everyone seems to be striving for perfection, I think it's refreshing to be a little...perplexing.
