Windows 11 Add App: To Startup

We all have that one app we open the second we log into our PC. For some, it’s Slack or Teams. For others, it’s Spotify, a password manager, or a note-taking tool like Obsidian.

Here you will see a list of apps currently configured to run at boot. Toggle them or Off . If the app you want isn't listed here, you need Method 2 or 3. Method 2: The "Hidden" Startup Folder (Best for adding any app) This is the old-school method that still works perfectly. Windows has a special folder that acts like a "launch list." Anything you place inside this folder will open automatically when you sign in.
