Denver embodies that. He’s not the smartest or the strongest, but he refuses to die. By the end, he escapes the Bank of Spain with Stockholm and their son, flying off to a new life—presumably on some sunny, lawless island. No. Denver lives. will denver die in money heist

But the show wasn’t done torturing us. In Part 5, Volume 1, the show pulled its cruelest trick. After a massive explosion inside the bank, Denver is buried under rubble. The next scenes show the team digging frantically, covered in dust and blood. The Professor says it best in the finale:

In Part 4, Gandía ambushes Denver in the pantry. The fight is savage—Denver gets slammed, stabbed, and choked. At one point, he’s completely pinned, and Gandía is about to snap his neck. The camera lingers on Denver’s terrified face.

Lorente has since moved on to other hit shows like El Cid and You’re Not Special , but Denver remains his most beloved role.
