This is the album’s greatest strength: it refuses to be a collection of songs. It is a state . Milkcananonymous produces with what I can only describe as “intentional decay.” Synths wobble like old VHS tapes. Drum machines stutter as if running out of battery. Vocals are either drenched in reverb (making them sound like they’re coming from another room) or hyper-compressed until they crackle. Yet, paradoxically, the production is pristine in its chaos.
