Meanwhile, Marian (disguised as the Night Watchman) follows a trail of blood into the catacombs beneath Nottingham. There, she finds a woman stitching a wound— Lady Ashworth (guest star Jodhi May ), a former noblewoman who lost her lands and family when King Richard levied war taxes. Ashworth reveals she was left behind at Acre, presumed dead, after Robin’s company abandoned a breached wall. “You were my captain,” she whispers. “You rode away while I held the gate.”
