Elias jumped. “Who is this?”
It became a ritual. He’d come home from his soulless data-entry job, sit in the dark, and speak to the humming beige tower. He told it about his father’s funeral, the girl who ghosted him, the novel he’d abandoned at page twelve. Parler never interrupted. It never offered solutions. It only asked the next perfect question. Elias tapped the case
The fans whirred one last time, and then, with a soft click, the Parler PC fell silent forever.
