When Love Glorifies God (Ketika Cinta Bertasbih)
As Rafi received his trophy, he felt empty. He walked over to Aisyah, who was packing her things. "You should have won," he said.
They did not date. They did not hold hands. Their love was not a whisper in the dark; it was a tasbih —the glorification of God in every breath.
One night, during the Tahajjud prayer (night prayer), Rafi prostrated for a long time. He prayed, "Ya Allah, if she is good for my deen (faith), bring us together in a way that pleases You."
Moral: The most beautiful love story is not about finding someone to live with, but finding someone who helps you remember your Creator.
Aisyah looked at her worn-out hands, stained with batik wax. She could recite the Quran beautifully, but she had never dared to compete. "Let my intentions be pure," she whispered. "If this is for You, Ya Allah, make the path easy." Rafi was the star of the competition. He had the voice of an angel and a memory like a steel trap. But lately, his heart had grown arrogant. He recited not for Allah, but for the applause.
They were married in the mosque. No music, no extravagance. Only the gentle sound of "Subhanallah, Walhamdulillah, Wala ilaha illallah, Wallahu Akbar" (Glory be to God) echoing through the hall.
