Green Dot (the maker of MoneyPak) has not run a TV ad in years. No legitimate business uses these for remote payment.
Once you give them that number, the cash is gone. There is and no way to track it.
If someone demands that you buy a card from Walmart, CVS, or Walgreens to pay them, hang up immediately. moneypak card
Return the card to the store if you haven't opened it. If you have, demand a manager. 🛑
