The white version is a little see-through. You need a nude or gray undershirt, not a dark one. Also, the stitching at the hem is functional but not "fashion grade"—a couple of loose threads out of the package.

If you are looking for a mid-weight shirt that bridges the gap between cheap "budget blanks" and expensive retail polos, the Logo Comfort V7 is the answer. It avoids the cardboard feel of economy shirts while being thicker than "ringspun" fashion tees.

The V7 is very soft—softer than a standard Gildan 5000—but that softness comes at a cost. The fabric is thinner than I expected for a "logo" shirt. I’ve had two of these get small snags (pulls) just from rubbing against my desk edge.
