The story follows Jim (Robert Carlyle), a man who wakes up from a coma 28 years after the outbreak. He finds himself in a deserted hospital, with no memory of who he is or how he got there. As Jim navigates the post-apocalyptic world, he meets Selena (Imogen Poots), a young woman who is immune to the virus, and her son, Andy.
