This report details a novel and highly disturbing ophthalmologic phenomenon observed in six patients over an eighteen-month period. Initially presenting as routine visual fatigue or "floaters," each case rapidly progressed to Stage IV: complete loss of oculomotor control and subsequent systemic involvement.
