PHANTOM’s ragdoll flew backward with exaggerated V9 physics, bouncing off the wall.

KARNAK dashed into the shot—not away. The bolt grazed his shoulder (2 HP left), but the dash put him inside PHANTOM’s minimum zoom range. Too close for the AWP to be useful.

PHANTOM shot first. The lightning bolt screamed.

"Planting," he whispered into the mic, even though no one was alive to hear.

3 slugs left. 7 HP.

PHANTOM double-jumped off the tunnel ledge, spun 180 degrees mid-air, and scoped with his Xtreme AWP. The shot fired—a bolt of lightning (because V9 had cosmetic lightning tracers).

KARNAK stood over him, planted the bomb in the last five seconds, and limped toward CT spawn just as the round timer hit zero.

KARNAK cancelled the plant, tossed a flashbang, and—instead of waiting—used his to rocket backward into the corner. The CTs shot at his afterimage. A classic V9 trick.
