Change Icon Desktop May 2026

Browse through the default Windows icons, or click Browse to use your own .ico file. (Note: You cannot use JPEG or PNG images directly—they must be in .ico format. Use a free online converter to change your image to an icon file.)

Scroll down and click on Desktop icon settings (under "Related Settings"). change icon desktop

Right-click on an empty area of your desktop and select Personalization . Browse through the default Windows icons, or click

Click the Change Icon... button.
