Vinnie’s bipolar disorder is also front and center again. A manic episode is triggered not by a crisis, but by a moment of genuine happiness—a trope reversal that feels painfully real. The way the show visualizes his spiraling (through dutch angles, oversaturated flashbacks, and muffled sound design) is more ambitious than ever for a TV comedy-drama. S05E05 isn’t the funniest episode of the season (that’s still Episode 2’s wedding fiasco), but it might be the most well-rounded. It balances three separate heist threads, develops every main character’s arc, and ends on a cliffhanger that made me immediately check if Episode 6 is out yet. brassic s05e05 webdl
