Adobe released security bulletins (APSB17-24, APSB18-02) addressing remote code execution (RCE) flaws in Acrobat XI’s JavaScript engine and image parsing libraries. Portable repacks do not receive these updates, leaving them vulnerable to malicious PDFs delivered via email or web downloads.
